Our Story

Our love for coffee had always existed. It wasn’t until we tried a bagel with our coffee that we fell in love with the calibration. With frequent trips to our nearest bagel shop we’d had enough and thought ‘why not give it a go’ and The Bagel House was born in November 2019.

With Ben working in a restaurant since the age of 16 and Mel working as a barista, the team didn’t hesitate to get going on there project!

We wanted a modern- Byron Bay theme for the cafe which involved a pleasant amount of white throughout the cafe giving it a clean, fresh feeling!

Finding our coffee supplier was really easy! we’d already tried alot of the coffee’s throughout Melbourne but nothing really surprised us.It wasn’t until we went on a trip to Queens cliff we tried one of the coffee roasters there called Woolshed in which we fell in love with!
